The other week I got to do a newborn shoot for my good friend Lindsay and her new baby boy, Oliver. I was so excited to do this shoot because not only do I love Lindsay and her family but I was so excited to meet Ollie for the first time and get to capture him in his first several days of life. Plus, I think I'm just a sucker now for baby boys and man oh man can seeing that perfect little Oliver get a girl all baby hungry! ;) He really was such a sweetheart and such a good baby. And so awake and alert! (What it is with me and newborns not wanting to ever sleep when I'm in the room?! Oh well, those big dark eyes were worth it!) It was so fun taking pictures of him too with his new big sister May, who is a little knockout of a 3 year old (as evidenced below) herself. I'm pretty sure Cal has a major crush on her.

I know this is supposed to be a preview (and seriously, Linds, I promise there are more pictures!) but how do you expect me to narrow it down any more than this when you have two kids as stinkin' adorable as these two?! It was hard.

Isn't she just a doll? May was so cute and tried hard to sit still for us while we took a couple shots of her and Ollie. It took her a little while to warm up to the idea, but even though these pictures aren't full of grins, I just love how they turned out and how sweet and natural they feel to me of the two of them--just a new brother and sister hanging out at home.
Congrats Lindsay and Chad, Ollie is just perfect!

Wow, the pics are awesome and most excellent! So full of life, they make me feel as though I'm there even though I'm not. I wish I was there because the snow and cold today is a reminder that I'm not in California.
